I seriously had no clue how much does he mean to me till I become
close to him. He is different for different flocks. Few do things to convince
him. Few people pretend in front of him. On the other hand few are least
bothered. They just don’t care about anything. They do things as they like.
Does everything they want. And there is another category. For them he might be a source of
inspiration. For some he is just hope. For
few he is saviour. Many fear him. A few love him. Many go crazy about him. Actually
what is he?
Some lionize him. Is it necessary to idolize? Depends. I
don’t have an ideal figure to worship. At times I picturize him as a babee. A
baby pampered in a pure white fabric with sparkling eyes and knows only to
smile. Gentle and soft. At times I do feel that he is unflappable and serene. At times it’s a figure of a 7 feet tall man
standing at the top of a hill with a radiance of mild blue light along the
frame at night from head to toe. Sometimes as a smoke curling up to form an
unusual pattern which rise up to the dark sky.
That’s how he is.
I am not here to discuss the origin of that power. But the
realization of that same power which I have felt at different phases of my
life. During my earlier stages of life, like any other kid, I too was
instructed with the basic concepts. There is this positive relationship between
teachings and fear. He was always equated with fear. ‘If you do like this, he
will put you in fire’. Fear – the ultimate agenda. So did us.
In the later stages,
as in during adolescence again, the stage of fear will find a slight
diversion. It is a very trifling change. Still we can put it as a starting
stage of the next phase. And in the next segment is the most happening stage of
youth where actually the thought process is supposed to take place. It will
take place if you get a chance. And this will happen with few. Not very few,
but quite a few number. They will start thinking about that particular power. This
thought process may take them to different directions. They may divert from the
conservative thoughts when they start thinking. Their further readings,
interactions with surroundings, observations etc will accelerate these
diversions. And this will end up in a stage where he or she finally comes up
with their conclusions.
Few may detach themselves from that power. They may have a
different thread of thought. Few may get more attached to that same power. And
I belong to the second category. Though I found myself deviated from him for a
short span of time, later I found myself falling for the same power. I fell in
love. And that was the moment I realized the beauty of love. I had this strong
feeling on why I didn’t feel the same before. Its quiet natural as we feel the
same with few people as in we wonder where they were all those while. Now when
I came out of those conventional thoughts, I equate him to love.
Call it by whatever name you want - Allah, Christ, Krishna
or Bhudha. Few people feel the presence of that power every time and wherever
they go. Belief is what that matters. If you believe in something, whatever
happen you will stick on to it. The condition here is, you should be a staunch
believer. It’s all about faith. It is all about hope that whatever happens is
been designed by him and is for good. As we all say, ’all is well’. He will
never cheat us. Believe him and more than that love him. Then it will be easy
for us to handle things because we will show more patience when it comes to the
people whom we truly love. Then whatever happens will be under the account of
love and at the end of the day we will feel blessed and happy as you have no
clue on how much he is gonna love you back..

DeleteWell-articulated ...I have read some articles of the same genus which speaks about the higher power in eloquence, how to reconcile our conceptual nuances and understand the crux of what divinity means. But somehow all of them are in contradiction with each other at some point. Your writing has got some grace to it because it’s properly phrased without being overly emphatic.
ReplyDeleteits all about how we relate ourselves to divinity. its different and can't be related. when you try to compare and compete there starts the issues i guess..few people are fanatic. problems starts when we force things on others. at the end of the day al that matters is how genuine you are to yourself - whatever it is. between thank you..:):)
